Ashwin Kumar’s mythological action epic Mahavatar Narasimha made an impressive entry at the box office, capturing audience attention right from day one. On its first day of release, the movie brought in ₹2.29 crore worldwide, with the Hindi version taking first place with ₹1.51 crore. The film has received appreciation on social media for its beautiful images and accurate depiction of Sanatan Dharma, despite the relatively modest beginnings of regional versions.

  The opening notes of the regional language versions were slower. The Telugu version donated ₹38 lakh, while the Kannada version earned ₹7 lakh. The lowest openings were in Tamil and Malayalam, with respective revenues of ₹2 lakh and ₹3 lakh.

India’s Net Collection of ₹2.01 Crore

  When all versions are combined, the movie’s first-day gross domestic receipts came to ₹2.01 crore. The story of Prahlad’s unshakeable devotion and the fabled Narasimha avatar of Lord Vishnu are brought to life in the film’s screenplay by Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh.
