Ahaan Panday: With the arrival of several new actors, including Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan, and Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Raveena Tandon, 2025 has proven to be an exciting year for Hindi cinema. Chunky Panday’s nephew and Ananya Panday’s cousin, Ahaan Panday, is stepping into the spotlight as part of Bollywood’s newest generation of rising stars.
Ahaan, who previously won people over with his dancing skills at the wedding of his sister and content producer Alanna Panday, is now prepared to make his acting debut. He co-stars with Anith Padda, star of Big Girls Don’t Cry, in the highly awaited Sayara movie, which is sponsored by YRF and directed by Mohit Suri.
After building buzz with an intriguing teaser and several song launches, the much-awaited trailer of *Sayara* has finally been unveiled.
Ahaan’s character, Krish Kapoor, is shown assaulting an art critic at the beginning of the two-minute, forty-three-second teaser. “Krish Kapoor,” he says immediately after. Remember the name. Say it! Anith Padda is then presented to us as Krish’s band’s songwriter, Vani. The two quickly develop a romance after what starts out as a tense encounter. But when Anith’s character is depicted menacing Krish with a knife, things take a drastic turn, sending him into a dark spiral as a rock star who has lost his heart. Ahaan Panday
Many viewers have expressed admiration for Ahaan’s performance. One commenter on social media said,
“There is some range visible; Ahaan was sincerely trying.” Even though I know he’s a nepotism kid, I’m amazed.
However, responses to Anith Padda’s performance were more negative.
“Among all the nepo kids, I wanted her to stand out, but she gives lines without even opening her mouth, and her expressions are flat. She isn’t even very attractive. I sincerely worry about her.
