Hero has officially launched the Vida VX2 electric scooter in India, with a starting ex-showroom price of ₹59,490 under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. Hero has also launched a new electric mobility category named “E-VOTR” in conjunction with this launch.  The business claims that this breakthrough combines the convenience, style, and daily usefulness of a conventional scooter with the stability, intelligence, and performance of an EV.

 The Vida VX2 is sold using the BaaS model and comes in two versions designed especially for the Indian market.  Here is a brief summary of the important information you need to be aware of:

Range and Battery Life of the Hero Vida VX2  

There are two battery options for the Vida VX2: 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh packs.

 With its smaller 2.2 kWh battery, the VX2 Go model is said to have a 92-kilometre range between charges.

 With its larger 3.4 kWh battery pack, the VX2 Plus can travel up to 142 kilometres between charges.

 The Hero Vida VX2 stands out as the first scooter in its segment to feature cloud connectivity and remote immobilisation, enhancing both safety and control. While the VX2 Go comes equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD screen, the VX2 Plus offers a more advanced 4.3-inch TFT display. 

Additionally, it has smooth smartphone interaction, offering firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates, telemetry data, and real-time trip statistics.  Furthermore, fast charging is supported by the VX2, which can charge the battery to 80% capacity in just 60 minutes.
