Kannappa Trailer Sparks Buzz: Powerful First Look at Akshay Kumar’s Telugu Debut Leaves Fans Divided

Netizens Share Mixed Reactions to the ‘Kannappa’ Trailer, While Prabhas Fans Remain Excited

Internet users were not too impressed with the Kannappa trailer, and many of them had scathing things to say about it. That said, fans of Prabhas were truly thrilled and eagerly looking forward to the film.

Review of Kannappa‘s Trailer: Diverse Views

The trailer for Kannappa, which was just released and features Akshay Kumar’s Telugu debut, has been called “an improvement” over the teaser.  The update received mixed reactions from netizens generally, however some viewers expressed gratitude for it.

Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar takes on the powerful role of Lord Shiva, sharing the screen with Telugu superstars Prabhas and Mohanlal.

What internet users had to say was as follows:

Despite acknowledging some excellent qualities, the teaser failed to wow many viewers.  Conversely, Prabhas’s admirers expressed their genuine excitement for the movie.

One admirer praised the Kannappa clip, saying, “It’s visually stunning and deeply spiritual.”

Another user wrote, “The caravan exceeded expectations.”

As one social media user pointed out,

“The cast is excellent.  The locations are stunning and were shot in actual locales, which is a wise decision in my opinion because most modern directors only use green screens.

But the same user also added:

“I was somewhat disappointed since I couldn’t tell where the CGI budget went.  The weaponry and clothing appear shoddy.

Another reviewer stated,

It still feels like a badly done TV show, even though the new trailer is unquestionably superior to that awful teaser.  Unnecessarily many narrative points are exposed, and the cameos don’t really add anything.  The only one who truly sticks out is Prabhas.

One critical review was as follows:

“The trailer isn’t very good.  It appears to have been filmed on a YouTuber’s weekend vlog budget.  The production value of even a school annual day video is more than that of a movie.  The script is also a farce.

According to a different comment:

“The whole arrangement seems like a cheesy Vikings parody!  Why are they unable to produce something more realistic like Devara, KGF, or Baahubali?  Why imitate irrelevant subjects for a Kannappa-based movie?  I can already picture the film falling short of expectations.

Additionally, a netizen added:

“This seems less opulent than web series.  Additionally, please refrain from misleading the audience by portraying Prabhas as a supporting lead.  Really.
