Actor Prabhas has come forward to support Fish Venkat, who is currently in the ICU, bravely battling for his life and in urgent need of a kidney transplant.
According to his relatives, the surgery will cost ₹50 lakh.
Veteran comedian Fish Venkat, who is in serious condition in the intensive care unit and urgently needs a kidney transplant, has received financial support from well-known Telugu actor Prabhas.
Shravanti, Venkat’s daughter, revealed in an interview with OneIndia that the Baahubali star’s crew had contacted her and offered assistance. She also urged other well-known Tollywood actors who had previously collaborated with her father to step up and help them through this trying period.
According to Shravanti, the transplant would cost about ₹50 lakh, and Prabhas has agreed to pay a sizable portion of the associated costs. She conveyed her profound worry about her father’s declining health by saying,
Dad is seriously unwell and in a very bad state. He is critically ill and requires a kidney transplant immediately, which will set us back at least ₹50 lakh. We were called by one of Prabhas’ assistants, who promised financial assistance. In order for them to cover the expenses, they requested that we notify them when the transplant takes place.
The larger obstacle still stands: locating a qualified kidney donor, even though Prabhas, the star of Salaar, has provided much-needed financial help. Shravanti disclosed that they had not yet found a donor and that no one in their family is a suitable match.
She appealed to prominent Tollywood stars on an emotional level:
I truly wish that stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, or Jr. NTR would step in to help us during this difficult time. NTR can assist us in finding a donor for my father. He has collaborated on all of these outstanding flicks. But now, it feels like no one is paying attention or showing concern. I respectfully ask everyone to assist my father.
Because of his distinctive Telangana accent, Fish Venkat, who is well-known for his comedic and villainous parts, was given the nickname “Fish.” He has gained popularity for his distinct on-screen persona throughout the years by starring in well-known films including Bunny, Adhurs, and Dhee.
