Two Gaming Experiences, Two Strong Models
Two Xbox Ally versions are part of the project: White ROG The Xbox Ally was created to provide a typical 720p gaming experience. For higher-end gaming, the Black ROG Xbox Ally X is a more powerful version that supports resolutions ranging from 900p to 1080p.

The Asus XG Mobile, which has the potent RTX 5090 laptop GPU, is compatible with both handhelds. When docked, this enables users to enjoy gaming performance comparable to that of desktop computers.
Timeline for Launch
The 2025 holiday season will see the release of both ROG Xbox Ally handhelds. In the upcoming months, Microsoft and Asus will disclose pre-order information and price.
