Shibu Soren in Critical Condition, on Ventilator Due to Kidney Complications

Due to kidney-related problems, Shibu Soren, the former chief minister of Jharkhand, has been hospitalised at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the nation’s capital for more than a month.

  The veteran leader’s condition is critical, and he is currently on a ventilator, according to sources on Saturday.


For many years, the 81-year-old Soren has been receiving routine medical care at the hospital. On June 24, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid his father a visit, saying, “We came to see him because he was admitted recently.” His health is being assessed at the moment.

According to sources, Ramdas Soren, the minister of education for Jharkhand, had a cerebral stroke and was taken to Apollo Hospital in Delhi.
