Trump Blasts Medvedev’s Explosive Nuclear Remarks Over Iran, Issues Stark Warning Against Casual Threats

Trump: Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev recently said that some nations would be willing to give Iran nuclear weapons in reprisal for American attacks. U.S. President Donald Trump reacted strongly to the remark, firmly condemning it, warning against reckless nuclear threats, and highlighting the unmatched strength of the U.S. military.

Medvedev said that some countries might think about providing Iran with nuclear weapons in retribution for recent American attacks, sparking a new verbal spat between Washington and Moscow.  Trump reacted forcefully, denouncing the careless reference to nuclear weapons and highlighting the power of the American defence.

Trump shared a strongly written response on Truth Social on June 23.

“Did I just hear former Russian President Medvedev imply that he and other nations might provide Iran with nuclear weapons while casually using the ‘N-word’ (nuclear!)?” Trump wrote.  Is it my imagination, or did he actually say that?  Please notify me right away if he did and it is verified.

On June 22, Medvedev, who is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, said on X (previously Twitter):

Nuclear material is still being enriched, and it is now obvious that the creation of nuclear weapons will continue.  A number of nations are prepared to provide Iran with nuclear weapons.  “The nuclear fuel cycle’s critical infrastructure has not been compromised,” he continued.

Such casual allusions to nuclear weapons are dangerous and should never be taken lightly, Trump said.  “This is why Putin is ‘the boss’,” he continued.  Additionally, he commended the June 21 U.S. airstrikes that targeted Iran’s Fordow nuclear enrichment site, where powerful “bunker-buster” bombs were deployed. Trump stressed that the most potent U.S. weapons were not utilised even during these operations.

With the assertion that American nuclear submarines are “20 years ahead of the rest”, Trump continued to emphasise the sophistication of American nuclear technology.  He gave the submarine personnel that participated in the most recent Iran mission high marks.

Trump added, “In case anyone thought our ‘hardware’ over the weekend was impressive, our nuclear submarines are our strongest and most advanced equipment — 20 years ahead of the rest.” “These are the most potent and deadly weapons ever created, and they just launched 30 Tomahawk missiles, all of which hit their targets precisely.”

Medvedev Addresses Trump’s Statements

Trump’s worries have finally been addressed by Dmitry Medvedev.  In reference to President Trump’s response, I denounce the U.S. strike on Iran since it fell short of its objectives.  Russia, meanwhile, has no plans to give Iran nuclear weapons.  We are signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, unlike Israel,” he said. “Having managed our nuclear forces, I am fully aware of the implications of such a move.  However, the statement’s purpose was to suggest that other nations might give it some thought.  There is no reason for us to argue about who possesses more nuclear weapons.

particularly because, for the time being, the New START pact, which I once signed with a US president, is still in force.  What comes next is the actual query.
