Jind: Haryana Education Minister Strongly Defends Vikas Barala’s Controversial Appointment During University Foundation Day Celebration

Jind, Haryana—Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda defended the state government’s choice to name Vikas Barala, an accused sexual harassment case victim, as a top legal officer during Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University’s (CRSU) 12th Foundation Day ceremony on Thursday.

Minister Dhanda responded to the accusations by saying,

“Today, is it illegal to be a politician’s son? He has worked hard in his studies and succeeded on his own. Saying things like these is the same as saying that politicians’ children shouldn’t be permitted to work at all.

He went on to say,

“Should someone be prohibited from working simply because they have a case pending in court? Can’t a politician’s child go to school or get a job? Vikas Barala
