What Made Paresh Rawal Go?
A major backlash resulted from Paresh Rawal’s public departure from Hera Pheri 3. Cape of Good Films, Akshay Kumar’s production company, allegedly sued him for ₹25 crore as a result. According to the lawsuit, Rawal had committed to the project at first but then abruptly left the movie and messed up the timeline.
During the legal dispute, Paresh Rawal returned the signing amount along with the accrued interest. In interviews, he has already voiced his displeasure, pointing out that Phir Hera Pheri (2006) deviated from the franchise’s original humour. He became wary as a result of the letdown and requested the screenplay before accepting Hera Pheri 3. He ultimately made the decision to leave the movie because he was not given any concrete guarantees and there were several producers vying for his attention.
Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Initiative
Regarding his career, Akshay is preparing for his role as Lord Shiva in the Telugu mythical fantasy movie Kannappa. Prabhas and Mohanlal will make a cameo appearance with the Kesari 2 star. On June 27, 2025, the movie will be released in theatres.
