Ranbir Kapoor Wraps Up ‘Ramayana Part 1’ Shoot – First Look to Be Unveiled on July 3

“Ramayana”, starring Ranbir Kapoor, is now formally one of his most anticipated movies.  The Bollywood star has finished filming the first instalment of the legendary epic, which is a significant development.  One of the most anticipated projects in Indian film has completed its first chapter after months of rigorous development.

 Indeed, Ranbir Kapoor has finished filming the first chapter of *Ramayana* under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. Every new development has been anxiously anticipated by fans, and the creators have finally provided a significant upgrade just in time.  The first look will be released soon, and the movie is scheduled for release next year.  The filmmakers have also officially revealed the release date for the teaser launch.

Ranbir’s moving speech was captured on camera in a viral video.

When Will We See the First Look?  

The wait is nearly over!  On July 3, 2025, filmmakers Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari will release the first official trailer for the movie.  Nine major Indian cities—Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and Kochi—will host the teaser’s premiere.  Nationwide, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the event.

A Mythological Extravaganza on a Megabudget

 In this grand cinematic retelling of Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor steps into the role of Lord Ram, with Sai Pallavi portraying Goddess Sita. KGF star Yash takes on the fierce character of Ravana and has already completed filming his scenes.  Hanuman will be portrayed by Sunny Deol.  Kaikeyi will be portrayed by Lara Dutta.

One of the most costly Indian films to date, the first half of the movie is apparently being made on a huge budget of ₹835 crore.

 Timetable of Release

 On Diwali 2026, Part 1 of the Ramayana will be released in cinemas.  Diwali 2027 is when Part 2 is expected to be released. The film is being produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra, with direction by Nitesh Tiwari, best known for his work on Dangal.
